Scientific Evidence For God's Existence

This blog contains scientific evidence that God exists and undeniable archaeological evidence that The Bible is historically correct.

Archaeological Evidence That The Bible is Historically Correct:

The Black Obelisk of Shalmaneser III, shows the Biblical Jehu, king of Israel. It describes how Jehu brought or sent his tribute in or around 841 BCE.

The Nabonidus Cylinder proves Belshazzar's existence; Belshazzar was a king of Babylon and he is mentioned in The Book Of Daniel in The Bible. The Nabonidus Cylinder proves Belshazzar did indeed exist. This gives evidence that The Book Of Daniel is historically correct.

The Shishaq Relief is a series of inscriptions recounting pharaoh Shishaq's invasion of Judah and Israel in 925 BC. When the king of Egypt laid siege to Jerusalem, Rehoboam gave him all of the treasures out of the temple as a tribute. This is recorded here.

Further evidence that The Bible is correct is that Sennacherib's Prism, details the events of Sennacherib's campaign against Judah which is mentioned in The Bible as well. Sennacherib's campaign against Judah is described in great detail in The Bible. To bring together the biblical account and the records of the Assyrian emperor shows vindication of the Bible as historical fact.

More Artifacts That You Should Research About, Which Prove That The Bible is Historically Correct:

Amarna letters (c. 1300s BC) - correspondence on clay tablets between the Egyptian administration and various Middle East kings petty sub-rulers in Canaan during the New Kingdom.

Arch of Titus - (c. 82 AD) This relief shows spoils from the sack of Jerusalem by the Romans in 70 AD. Depicted are the menorah and trumpets, as well as what might be the Table of Showbread.

Babylonian Chronicles (c. 747 BC - 247 BC) - This deals with Nebuchadnezzar's siege of Jerusalem, etc. Read the books of Zedekiah and Book of Kings, Book of Jeremiah, Lamentations.

Balaam inscription (c. 840-760 BC) ]9th or 8th century BC inscription about a prophet named Balaam from The Book of Numbers.

Bulla of Jehucal - son of Shelemiah, son of Shevi. This person is mentioned in the Book of Jeremiah who thus presumably lived in the late 7th century BC (i.e. at about the same time as Jeremiah).

Cylinder of Cyrus (c. 559 BC-530 BC) - This regards King Cyrus's treatment of religion, which is significant to the books of Chronicles, Ezra and Nehemiah.

Deluge Tablet - The Epic of Gilgamesh records a Babylonian flood story; this connects to Genesis and gives evidence that it is historically correct with the idea of a flood that occured.

Scientific Evidence Of God:

The same force that gives objects weight also keep us on the ground. The same force that makes apples fall also holds the stars together. Without gravity, we wouldn't be able to study the universe or live in it. Gravity is obviously evidence that the universe has been designed by a god because design and order cannot proceed from mindlessness. Observational evidence reveals that only intelligence ever produces order. This is simple logic.

Observational science also reveals that you can only get something from something, you can't get something from nothing. Contrary to the assertions of some atheists, quantum mechanics does not argue that something can come from nothing and the vacuum of space is not nothing either. There is literally no evidence of something being able to come from nothing, let alone something as complex and huge as the universe. The Big Bang theory shows the universe had a beginning and the scientific principle of causality demands that all effects must have a cause. The universe was an effect so it needed a cause, a cause that I propose is God based on the design we can clearly observe throughout the cosmos from gravity to the scientific laws which govern the universe.

Causality is on the side of theism which means logic and science agree with theism. It is atheism that has the burden of proof since it asserts something can come from nothing (something we've never observed). This simple fact alone debunks atheism via deductive reasoning and shows us the reality of the existence of God who is established as the Biblical God by the fulfilled prophecies of The Bible such as the destruction of Tyre and the Crucifixion of Jesus as described in The Psalms hundreds of years before the time of Jesus (this is validated by the carbon dating of the dead sea scrolls).

"Gravity explains the motions of the planets, but it cannot explain who set the planets in motion. God governs all things and knows all that is or can be done." -- Issac Newton, publisher of the PhilosophiƦ Naturalis Principia Mathematica which is considered to be among the most influential books in the history of science.

Gravity keeps all the planets in motion around the sun. Again this is proof of the universe being designed by a God because this shows order. If the universe wasn't designed by a God, there would no gravity and no order and no system that the planets revolve around. This again, is simple logic as mindlessness does not produce order or design.

Science tells us that the universe was created. When the universe was created, dimensions were created including time. The Bible tells us that God exists outside of the universe where no time exists and thus God has always existed and always will. This is in response to atheists who ask "who created God?" nothing did. God is eternal and must be eternal because you cannot have an infinite chain of beings creating one another as there would be no beginning.

1 Corinthians 2:7: "No, we speak of God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began."

Titus 1:2: "A faith and knowledge resting on the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time."

Jude 1:25: "To the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen."
